OVERVIEW:
The NWO cross-platform engine and toolset were designed specifically for the development of our first PSP title. It enables rapid development of 2d sprite based games. All game art, sounds, assets, logic, are integrated through this suite and quickly brought into game by the creative and design team. NWO is a one stop solution for 2d sprite based titles

Design centric tools: Toolchain was designed for primary use by artists, designers and non-programmers. Game and Level designers can easily add art, create AI and level logic, and build game content with minimal programmer support
Renderer: Forground and Background multi-layer scrolling allows for powerful full screen visual effect. Engine supports full 32bit tga and png formats.
Portals: Zones can be connected to one another through portal objects. Zones can be grounded into Levels package
Animation System: sprites can be composed of single animated objects or aggregates.
Per pixel control: In game physics and collision dynamics system gives per pixel control on sprite interactions
Extendible: Engine and runtime can be used for any sprite based game with minimal programmer effort.
Scripting System: NWOScript is an integrated visual scripting language for AI and in game events. New scripting commands are easily added to the tool and game for use by the design tea
