Junior Artist at Geekay Soft Canada

Description:
GeekaySoft Canada Inc is looking for an artist to create cutting edge next generation quality graphics for an exciting new property. The artist will follow the guidelines set out by the artistic lead to create fun and stylized game art.

Requirements:
• A passion for video games and creating concept illustrations.
• Strong Adobe Photoshop and 3D Studio Max / Maya skills.
• At least 2 years professional experience.
• Strong 3d modelling skills.
• Strong illustration skills.
• Strong understanding of art-related game components and has demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following specialties: user interface, concept illustration, character modelling, world modelling, animation, weapons design.
• Ability to take direction.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Highly self motivated and great attention to detail.
• Scripting experience a plus.
• Experience in game design a plus.
• Demo Reels strongly recommended, but not required.
